Sponsored by Amy McBeth, North Liberty, IA (07/09 - 07/11)
Vivian wasn't able to fight off an infected, ruptured abscess, and we helped her over the bridge on 07/28/12.  She will be missed terribly -- many tears were shed for her.

Biography:        Vivian was rescued by the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, and was found to be FIV+.  She is now the only girl in the FIV room, and she's quite a queen.  She had no trouble adjusting to all her male roomies.  We thought she had a severe upper respiratory infection when she first arrived -- she was having trouble breathing and was on her second course of antibiotics.  But when Dr. Jenni investigated, she found a large mass in her throat.  It turned out to be a non-cancerous polyp and we're hoping that's a good omen for many more happy years.  She's a gorgeous, long-haired tortie, who loves to have her tummy rubbed.  She's had a rough start in life, but things have turned out pretty well so far.  Can you blame her for hoping that her next big break will be to find her forever home??
