Biography:        Highland was a stray rescued by Safe Haven of Iowa County.  He is a very sweet and gentle boy.  He had the sniffles when he arrived, but he's now fully recovered and still showing his kitten behaviors, romping all over the place.  It looks like he has a few battle scars on his legs from his previous life, but he's now found safety and a bunch of new friends.  When we introduced him to his new roommates in Room 1, they all crowded round to introduce themselves, without a hiss or a swat.  Rex even started grooming him, as if to say you've got to be spruced up if you want to live in this room!  Whatever troubles he went through before are now over.  Welcome home, Highland!
