Biography: Maxie is from Williamsburg, Iowa and lived out
in the country with many "brothers" and "sisters." When her owner decided to move to Iowa City,
she needed to re-home some of her kitties. Witty Kitties had a space for Maxie, who is blind, but you'd never know
it by watching her. Within two days, Maxie found the kitty door to the outside enclosure on her own. We wish
we had been able to see how she found her way up to the kitty hammock, which is four feet off the ground! You
would swear she is sitting out there and observing her surroundings. Maxie is very sweet and loving and enjoys
being picked up and held if you don't startle her. She has adapted so quickly here that we're sure she'd find her way
around a new forever home with no problem!
