Sponsored by Waverly Pet Rescue, Waverly,
IA (03/11 - 09/11) Henry was adopted on 11/17/11 by Kirsten Platt, age 7, who promised her mom, Dr. Jenni Doll, that
she would scoop his litter box if he could come live with them. Kirsten has known hundreds of witty kitties in her short
life, but she fell in love with Henry. Scooping and cuddling are both right on track!

June, 2010 Biography: Henry is a stray who had been cared for by the folks at Waverly Pet Rescue for about six months.
He looks kind of like a Scottish Fold, but really isn't. Henry probably had a case of severe ear mites when he was young,
and he permanently damaged his ears after scratching them too much. They were in such bad shape that he had to have
surgery in November, 2009. He is now totally recovered, and only needs to have his ears cleaned occasionally with
a cotton swab to make sure they stay clean. Henry was pretty shy when he was first rescued, but the extra TLC while
recovering from his surgery really brought him out of his shell. He became more active and friendly, and is now a big
sweetheart. Henry loves spending time outside, and sits high up on a shelf watching everything below him. In fact,
he spends so much time outside we were concerned he wasn't eating (not that he doesn't have a pound or two to spare!!).
But now that he's learned the routine, he knows to come inside for his canned food breakfast and some petting in the
mornings. Henry would be the perfect lap cat for some lucky soul!! Special Needs: FIV
