Biography:         Cyrano was one of several cats rescued by the Iowa Humane Alliance from a farm situation.  He was supposed to stay at Witty Kitties only temporarily.  After Jenni checked him out and discovered he was an elderly boy with serious facial injuries, the rest of the board decided he needed to live out his life in a more serene setting -- here!  Half of his nose was literally torn off his face and required a couple surgeries to fix up.  He's recovered from his injuries and is now in foster care with two of our dedicated volunteers.  Cyrano (fondly nick-named "half-nose") has had some difficulties with temporary, minor health issues and adjusting to his new, indoor life.  But Maggy and Karen tell us that he's now (January, 2011) doing great and loves all the attention they're giving him. It would be lovely if Cyrano found a quiet home to "retire" to and spend his remaining years enjoying those comfy, sunny spots perfect for snoozing.

Special Needs:  Minor residual effects of facial injuries
