Biography: Molly is a rescued stray from Waverly Pet Rescue. She is very shy, and spends a lot of her time in little cubbies or in her outdoor enclosure. However, we've noticed that she runs away from us more slowly now, and if you approach her quietly, she may even stay put and let you look at her up close! No petting yet, but we're cautiously optimistic that she'll come around with time. She's so sleek and shiny, it's hard not to pet her. But for now, that's just a little bit too scary. She gets along great with all her kitty roommates, though! Update 01/12: Molly lets us pet her now!!! You have to be careful not to pet her head, but she really seems to like having her back and base of her tail sroked ever so gently. Update 01/14: Molly has really come out of her shell and even lets us pick her up! She doesn't hide anymore either. What a brave little girl! Update 01/16: Molly now voluntarily crawls into the laps of several of our volunteers when they're sitting on the couch. It is such a huge change in behavior. She is the sweetest thing!
