Missy O'Malley     pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif

Missy had chronic and painful mouth/gum problems, making it difficult for her to eat, and she never fully rebounded after dental surgery despite our best efforts at TLC.  Sadly, we had to help her over the rainbow bridge on 1/4/13.

Biography:        Missy O'Malley came to us from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center.  She's the spittin' image of Zowie in Room 4!  Missy was very friendly when she first arrived, but after a couple of days, she began hiding under the recliner with Skittles.  We rarely saw her for several weeks.  Then, one Saturday, she joined everyone else for the morning tray of wet food, and she's been a normal, friendly girl ever since!  Who knows what changed her mind, but we're so happy to see her again.  She loves curling up on the seat of the recliner with two or three of her roommates for a long and cozy nap.  Now her job is to convince Skittles and her new under-chair pal, Garage Kitty, that it's really not so bad to come out of hiding!
