Trevor was in chronic pain, and we made the tough decision to help him over the bridge on 4/27/12.  He deserved to be in a better place.

Biography:         Trevor is from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center, where Jenni works every Wednesday.  Needless to say, once she laid eyes on the little guy, his fate was sealed, and he came home to Witty Kitties that evening.  He had a slight temperature when he arrived, but seemed to be doing okay for a couple weeks.  He's a super friendly boy, and has lots of kitten left in him.  One day in early January we noticed that he was limping, and Jenni began some intensive treatments for what are still undiagnosed problems.  Could be a spinal tumor, trauma, or toxoplasmosis.  Jennis consulted with Trevor and decided against doing a spinal tap -- Trevor said "too icky" and what we'd learn would probably be untreatable.  Trevor's doing a little better now (mid January), but we're only cautiously optimistic.  Since he contracted FIV at such a young age, the odds aren't great.  So we're loving him up as much as we can, while we can, and taking one day at a time.
