Biography:         Monkey comes to us from a farm in the Amanas.  His family is moving and they couldn't take all their rescued farm kitties with them.  Monkey has seizures and requires daily medication.  Even with the meds, he still has a seizure every couple months or so.  Monkey was very pampered in his previous life, and we intend to continue making him feel very special!  He ventured out of his haven after only a day and started exploring his new home.  He and Sadie seem to have "connected" -- Sadie's 12 years old and Monkey's nearly 10.   Their fur is exactly the same color and they look like they were meant for each other!  They were both sleeping during Monkey's photo shoot and it was hard to get a picture of him with his eyes open!  Monkey is a little reserved and quiet, but is not afraid of people.  He let us hold him and pet him from the very first day.  The other cats seem to be ignoring Monkey and vice versa (except, of course, Sadie!).  We hope as their friendship (love?) grows, they'll be snuggling and keeping each other warm this winter!

Special Needs:  Seizure disorder
