Valentine passed away very unexpectedly on 5/1/17. A necropsy showed several tumors, one of which had ruptured. She hid her illness well. RIP sweet girl.

Biography: Valentine is from the Paws & More Shelter in Washington, Iowa. She has the most beautiful round eyes and a sweet-as-can-be face. But when she arrived, her body, all 20 pounds of it, was just as round as her eyes, and that was NOT a good thing! Three years later, she's down to a svelt 12 pounds, and beautiful as ever. She's had litter box problems in the past, and initially she didn't always use the litter box at Witty Kitties. However, in 2016 we've seen her in the box on numerous occasions. One of her previous foster parents said she never had accidents at their home, however she insisted two litter boxes, one to pee in, and one for pooping! She's a little stand-offish with the other kitties, and they are giving her plenty of space, therefore we think Valentine would do best as an only cat. She is so very sweet with people -- did we mention that she is the best "kneader" ever? She'll lay on your lap and press and press and press -- no problem though, because Valentine came to us already DECLAWED!! Won't you please give her a chance?
Special Needs: None that we're currently aware of!
