O'Malley     pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif

Sponsored by Maggy Tomova and Karen Haslett, Iowa City, IA, 3/14 - 8/14.
O'Malley developed terrible ulcers in his mouth and throat and couldn't eat, so we helped him over the bridge on 8/4/14.  Happily, he began to trust people over the last six months of his life and got tons of loving to send him on his way.  Godspeed little guy.

Biography:         O'Malley is a rescued stray all the way from Trenton, Missouri.  He was semi-feral when first rescued, and gradually came to be trusting of his rescuer.  But the trip to Witty Kitties and his new surroundings have really thrown him for a loop.  He is very scratchy and hissy with people, however his kitty roommates appear to be accepting of him and vice versa.  O'Malley has the sweetest face and he looks so sad right now.  We're talking to him lots and trying to reassure him that he really will like it here once he gets used to us!  He had dental work a couple weeks after arriving due to fairly severe stomatitis; eventually he'll need to have some teeth removed.  O'Malley might not be a good adoption candidate, so we will love him all the more and do everything we can to make him happy.
