Harry, one of our best room escape artists, suffered from serious GI issues. When his life became unbearable with chronic diarrhea and weight loss, Jenni helped him over the bridge on 11/26/16. He was surrounded by many volunteers that Saturday morning. RIP you sneaky boy!

Biography: Harry came to us from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center because of a partial right flank abdominal hernia. He's been with us for awhile now, and the hernia does not seem to be a problem. He later tested positive for FeLV. Harry's sort of a lazy boy, and spends a lot of his time sleeping on the couch. He loves to play the escape game -- and he's often at the door of his room waiting to charge past us when we open it. We've taken him on a leash outdoors, but that doesn't seem to be his cup of tea. Harry is fine with his roommates, so we're just not sure why he wants out so badly! Maybe he just thinks the grass is greener on the other side of the door. :) Harry would be a lap cat extraordinaire, although he really does need to burn off a few calories.
