Sponsored by Maggy Tomova and Karen Haslett, Iowa City, IA (09/14 to 09/15)
We are thrilled that Friday, our very senior citizen kitty, was adopted by Corbin Sholz, of Iowa City and now Breckenridge, CO, on 08/05/17. Corbin was specifically looking for a senior companion for her other cat Shelly, also a senior. We hear they are getting along just fine and Friday is still making those funny noises that pass for meows!

Biography: Friday came to Witty Kitties with her brother, Smokey Bear, as a favor to a friend whose mother entered a nursing home. Sadly, Smokey Bear found the new environment too difficult and stopped eating until we helped him over the bridge. Friday has adjusted much better, but still doesn't seem quite at home with all the other cats around. She has had some litterbox issues which may be due to the stress of her new environment. She loves to curl up in your lap and be cuddled and scratched behind her ears. We think she would thrive again in a "regular" home. So if you're looking for a senior kitty who needs some TLC, Friday's your gal.
Special Needs: Low potassium, takes a supplement
