Biography: Pepsi, aka 6-Pack, was found with one of those plastic 6-pack can holders around her neck. Surgery was required to remove the plastic, which was embedded in her skin and causing pain and infection. Pepsi used to be really afraid of people when we first took her in. But as of January 2015, time has worked its healing miracles, and she now leans into neck and ear scratching, comes voluntarily out of her little cubby to get stroked and petted, and is just not the same cat we rescued. You still must approach her slowly, and she's not yet a lap cat, but we think she'll get even more friendly with time and attention!
