Tanner began losing weight in the fall, and we discovered a tumor-like growth in his abdomen a month ago. On Christmas morning, surrounded by his outdoor buddies Manny, Hyde, Lillian, and Zowie, and in the tender embrace of Tim, his favorite volunteer, we helped him over the bridge. Run with the wind, dear Tanner!

Biography: Tanner's foster parents, Ian & Heather, brought him to Witty Kitties after waiting several months for an opening. He traveled well and within a couple days he was lounging on the couch as if he'd been here for years. Tanner quickly found his way to the outdoor enclosure, and loves spending time outside. He has been a little aggressive with a couple of the other cats, but we're likely still in the transition stage. Meanwhile, he's living up to his reputation from his foster home at being a glutton -- he learned the feeding routine quickly, and is always the first to run to the trays of canned cat food in the morning. He's super friendly and would probably love to be the king of his castle as an only cat. Do you have room in your castle??
