CHIP AHOY!!

Sex:                  Male, neutered

Estimated
Date of Birth:    November, 2009

Arrived at
Witty Kitties:     December, 2014

Biography:         When he was rescued, Chip was living in a storm drain near a Chipotle restaurant (the employees had been feeding him for a couple of years!).  Chip was missing an eye, which was draining, and limping.  His shoulder and leg on his blind side were full of bite marks and were infected.  The side of his face, nose/nasal cavity, mouth, jaw, and teeth had been rearranged, most likely from being hit by a car with no subsequent vet care.  Can you imagine the pain poor Chipotle has endured?  Cindy, his rescuer, got him all fixed up, but he was pretty wild and not doing well at her house so he came to Witty Kitties.  He's not much happier with the people here, but he gets along fine with the other cats in his room, and is gradually broadening his range of resting places, from the cubby on the floor to a top shelf where he can see all the goings on.  We've been told the Chipotle employees could pet him (hard to believe!!), and we're hoping we'll be just as lucky some day!!
