Parker    pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif

After a routine dental procedure, Parker developed a very rapid onset, severe bacterial pneumonia that was resistant to all our treatments.  We helped him over the bridge on 02/08/16.  RIP dear Parker.

Biography:         Parker was a stray who was rescued by our friends at Waverly Pet Rescue.  When he arrived, we followed our normal protocol of putting him in a haven so he could get adjusted to all the new sights and sounds.  After an hour, he wanted to come out so badly that we let him.  He wandered around, saying hello to all his new roommates.  It was like he had been living here forever!  He is a large, laid-back guy whose middle name is "sweet!"  On his initial exam, Dr. A discovered a very small, hard lump on the front of his neck -- she said that it probably was an embedded BB from a BB gun (which we will just leave in place).  Can you imagine?  Parker's cute little ears are slightly rounded at the tips, probably the result of frostbite.  Obviously, he's had some hard times in the past, but we've promised Parker that he'll be safe and sound with us until he finds his forever home.  You'll fall in love with this gentle guy!
