Lovely Emily went to PAWS & More in Washington, IA as a trade for Freddie, an FIV+ cat who was having some chronic health issues.  After serving as the "office greeter" for about a month, she was quickly adopted on 02/26/16.  How great is it that a municipal shelter adopted out an FIV+ kitty!?!  Many thanks and congratulations to PAWS & More!!!

Biography:         Emily was a stray turned in to the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center.  After testing positive for FIV, we're so glad she has a second chance with us!  She has a sweet little kitten face, even though she's estimated to be seven years old.  Her photos don't do her beautiful cream and grey coloring justice, and check out those cute little mittens!  Emily had a pretty serious ear infection when she arrived, but antibiotic treatment has cleared that up.  She is very friendly and approachable, and she loves to be on high perches so she can oversee her surroundings.  The other cats in her room accepted her with no problems but so far she hasn't bonded with any of them.  She is quiet and gentle and would love to have a lap of her very own!
