We helped Rolie Polie Man over the bridge on 11/18/17.  He had been going downhill slowly and his bloodwork was not good.  He finally stopped eating and told us it was time to say good-bye.

Biography:          Rolie Polie is from Iowa City and got his name because of a severe case of cerebellar hypoplasia.  He loves having a spot that will hold him in place so he can then eat without falling down.  He was adopted once, but returned to us because he wasn't making it to the litter box.  We think he just needed some time to learn how to get from point A to point B, because he hasn't had an accident for probably the last year.  He just loves to be outside in the summer!  He's not the friendliest cat in the world, but we love him all the same.
