Biography:         Trixie is a long-haired beauty who was turned in to the Humane Society in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She had a bad upper respiratory infection and was not responding well to antibiotics.  A local vet ran some tests, found out she had feline leukemia, and wanted to euthanize her!  Lucky for Trixie, Becky Nelson, a Humane Society volunteer, said "no way" and brought her to Witty Kitties.  Trixie has huge paws and a big fluffy tail and loves to play with toys.  She bats and chases anything that rolls all over the place!  She was a little shy at first, but now she comes right up to us for petting and ear scratches.  She'd love to do the same for you!
