Stretchette gradually developed lung problems and was having trouble breathing, so we helped her over the rainbow bridge (to be with her best friend Snowflake) on 6/19/13.

Biography:        Stretchette came from a farm in Solon and was one of about 40 cats and kittens rescued by the Johnson County Humane Society.  Dr. Jenni spayed, neutered, and vaccinated the entire batch.  Three of them (Stretchette, Sundance, and Snowflake) found a home with us when they tested positive for feline leukemia.  Stretchette was extremely well-socialized when she arrived and very people-friendly.  She also did the biggest wake-up stretches we've ever seen, but "Stretch" seemed too masculine a name, thus "Stretchette."  She is petite, friendly with other cats, non-demanding, super sweet, and loves being held.  In other words, she's simply an all-round perfect kitty!
