Snowflake     pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif   pawprints5.gif

Snowflake developed ossifying lymphomas and gradually lost her zest for life.  We helped her over the bridge on 05/20/13.  She never wanted to have much to do with us, but we loved her just the same.

Biography:        Snowflake came from a farm in Solon and was one of about 40 cats and kittens rescued by the Johnson County Humane Society.  Dr. Jenni spayed, neutered, and vaccinated the entire batch.  Three of them (Snowflake, Stretchette, and Sundance) found a home with us when they tested positive for feline leukemia.  Snowflake missed the critical socialization period when she was a kitten, and is therefore extremely shy and cautious with people.  When she's sleeping or very relaxed, she will let you pet her, and even hold her for a little while.  But it will take a great deal of patience and time for her to respond to humans as most cats do.  She has the prettiest blue eyes!
