We finally decided it was time to help Lokey over the Rainbow Bridge on 05/01/13 after a long battle with irritable bowel syndrome.  Sweet dreams, little boy.

Biography:         Lokey belongs to one of our board members, and was having a really tough time during the winter due to his irritable bowel syndrome.  He was an outdoor barn cat and was losing weight, and becoming dehydrated and lethargic.  It was time for him to come in from the cold and get some serious treatment here at Witty Kitties!  He's been on continuous medications since, including steroid injections.  He still has serious bowel problems, but he is now eating better and has gained a little weight.  Luckily, he doesn't seem to mind taking his liquid medication, and that has made all the difference, we think.   He is approachable, and will let you pet him, but he sometimes hisses and runs away too.  He may go home at some point, depending on his overall health.
