Biography:        Quasi was rescued as a kitten after sustaining a serious head injury, presumably the result of being hit by a car.  He was fostered for almost a year, but he had an open wound on his forehead that just would not heal and kept getting re-infected.  His rescuer finally ran out of funds, and Jenni decided to try to fix him up.  She flushed and flushed his head wound and then started him on an intensive course of antibiotics.  After two months, we're declaring him as good as new!  He has a slight indentation on his forehead because the hole in his skull still remains.  But the skin has been stitched closed over his skull, and unless you look closely, you can't see that anything is amiss.  His right eye will always be a little bit droopy too.  But that doesn't keep him from chasing and trying to pounce on his favorite tiny playmate, Mooch.   What a sight!  Quasi is also a love bug -- he'll curl up half on and half off your lap in a moment's notice.  He's a big guy, but still a kitten at heart -- we think he's trying to make up for lost time, now that he's all recovered!
