Biography:         Swisher Sweet came to Witty Kitties as a favor to an elderly couple who lived nearby. They had to move into a nursing home, and could take only two of their four cats. Poor Swisher Sweet is very shy and spent much of the first month at Witty Kitties hiding behind the couch in her room. But she has gradually started coming out more and more. One of her favorite spots is sitting on a pillow on top of the wire bins attached to the wall of her room. From there she has a good view of everything that's going on! She lets us pet her and does not seem to be afraid of people -- we think it is just taking her some time to get adjusted. She's a gorgeous grey tabby who's got to be wondering why she didn't get to go to the nursing home with her former parents. We hope she won't have long to wait before she finds a new forever home.
