Sponsored by Floyd County Humane Society, Joseph & Pat Molnar, and Julie Taylor (11/11 - 11/12).
Socks received tons of TLC from Chris Carlson, one of our volunteers, and was with us far longer than we expected given his chronic fever of unknown origin.  He finally told us it was time and we helped him over the bridge on 3/6/14.)

Biography:        Socks was a stray rescued by PAWS Humane Society in Charles City and was fostered by one of their wonderful volunteers while waiting for an opening at Witty Kitties.  He is a gorgeous, long-haired gray tuxedo who blended right in to his new environment.  He is very friendly, lets everyone pick him up, and has a cute little trill of a purr.  He gets along just fine with all the other cats.  Socks has shown no signs of being ill, and we're hoping he contracted the virus fairly recently, which would give him a better chance at a nice, long life with us.  Unless, of course, he really lucks out and finds a "regular" forever home!
