Biography:         Chuckles (along with Snuggles) came to us from Waterloo because his mom had to move into an apartment and couldn't take all her cats with her.  He's a very unusual guy -- he kind of stares off into space and doesn't even blink when you wave your hand in front of him.  On the other hand, he follows the mop just fine, batting at it with his paw, so we know he can see.  He doesn't respond to loud noises, so he may be hard of hearing, if not totally deaf.  But mainly it's his personality that is different.  Up until about four years ago, his owner says he seemed like a perfectly normal cat.  But then he started behaving differently.  He just doesn't interact with his environment the way a "normal" cat does.  He's also had some litter box issues since arriving.  But Chuckles really likes getting his canned food in the mornings, and makes a pretty good mess of the feeding tray.  And he loves his sister Snuggles -- they spend most of their time curled up together.  He's really a sweetie, absolutely loves being petted, and is a very laid back kitty.

Special Needs:  Deaf?  Other brain disorder?
