Biography: Pitch came to us all the way from Kansas City! He had been a neighborhood stray for almost three years, adopting the yard (and sometimes the home, by way of a kitty door!) of a kind soul named Ginny. Sadly, Ginny's four female kitties did not appreciate this interloper, and Pitch wasn't all that crazy about them either! Eventually, Pitch was helped by a network of local rescuers and was transported here by Larry, his sponsor and temporary foster dad. Pitch was in rough shape when he arrived, covered with scrapes and scratches. He has healed up nicely, and quickly adapted to his new home. He loves sitting on the window sill and seems to be checking out the horses and llamas outside. He's very friendly and loves being petted. And he has the cutest little meow! Black cats are difficult to adopt out, however around Witty Kitties everyone loves them. We'll do our best to find him a new home, but we'll be almost as happy if he stays with us forever!
